Dr. Adesina is the Managing Consultant at Bdellium Consult Ltd, Lagos Nigeria, and is currently leading a team of experts in agriculture to provide agribusiness solutions to a broad clientele base in Nigeria, a former Consultant to the Poultry Value Chain of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, he worked with other stakeholders to develop standards for the poultry industry and is on the Advisory Board of The Top Farmer Nigeria.
He developed the concept and implementation strategies for a growth enhancement scheme for smallholder poultry farmers in Nigeria and served as a trainer of trainers and prospective inspectors for various categories of poultry feed millers.
Career
He recently concluded an assignment as the Principal Investigator for Global Alliance for Veterinary medicine (GALVmed) project on Newcastle Disease vaccination and deworming project in South West Nigeria. He also represents the interests of some leading global players and vendors in the poultry value chain.
He has consulted for the World Bank, the Federal Government, the International Livestock Research Institute, several state governments, and some multilateral agencies operating within & outside Nigeria and brings over 35 years post qualification experience in Agribusiness Conceptualization & Projects Management.
